[ drawing ]These adapters slide over a pin type spindle (usually a wood lathe or grinder) and are hold with a setscrew. There are too many sizes out there, i.e., these are made to order. Shown here are two examples (see drawing). The nut acts are a shoulder for the wood chuck.
